April often speaks on the topics of confidence, worth, self-esteem, making moves, health and fitness.

A sought after emcee, moderator, panelist and speaker, April has led thought provoking interviews with brilliant minds such as Chicago greats Mellody Hobson, designer Maria Pinto and opening emcee for one of Nick Cannon’s Chicago Girls and Boys Club Entrepreneur Competitions.

Now a Certified Fitness Trainer, April carried around the weight of feeling fat more many years after a boy called her “big” at the ripe age of 12.

Finding her identity in Christ is what set her free and now she challenges and supports her clients to change both the inside and outside; tackling both mindset and physical fitness with programs like the 60 Day Breakthrough, Clean Eating and Love My Body Challenges.

April believes everyone is able to make the changes they desire whether by baby steps or giant leaps they just have to start moving!

Her vision is to get the Body of Christ and any one who is interested in reclaiming their health to making sound choices that will lead to victory in their overall lives!

The proud owner and founder of a small, woman and minority run business working with both Government Agencies and Consumers. 

April spent several years of experience working in both Higher education and Corporate America at one of the largest financial institutions in the world,

April has helped shape the lives of many professionals which caused her to launch her entrepreneurial career and birth Kingdom Power Living with the mission of changing lives one temple at a time!

She’s worked on two books, has sat on a number of steering and leadership committees around diversity and women’s issues and worked with many non-profit organization for volunteer partnerships such as Junior Achievement Chicago, Susan G. Komen Chicago, One Million Degrees, Habitat Chicago, Big Shoulders, American Red Cross and Chicago Cares.
